There have been some developments in the world of Mr Shinn, and for once they are good ones. His last few years have been pretty brutal.
From the corporate hell of the modern world arises a new beginning for one of his greatest talents - designing twin tips.
New range will be here in spring 2025.
New premium Enduro range,
New premium Freeride range
New premium Big Air range..
We rode some prototypes yesterday and they were sensational. Three years between the last designs and these new ones doesn't do them justice... They are outstanding. I guess he's been busy.
He's concentrating on the top tier performance only in every segment, carbon builds in all boards. Expect more comfort, more control and increased feel. Feels like the revered ethos of his signature board design style, reborn. Exciting times.
Oh,.... and Grants man-berries were fine - he was just being a big baby ;-)
Thanks to Kitesurf Scotland for hosting, and the Troon (Cape Troon) locals for the warm welcome and a potential name suggestion for the big air board - I think it's stuck! haha
