This "on-the-fly" recording of the Gigout "Grand Choeur Dialogue" was recorded on the fabulous Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ at the Mormon Tabernacle in Salt Lake City, UT on Saturday, July 4, 2015. Heartfelt thanks are due to my good friend David Chamberlin for making this visit possible and for recording this video. My thanks also to Robert Poll, Curator of Organs at Temple Square, for his generous and warm hospitality. My apologies for the false start and the awkward break midway through the piece, but it WAS "on-the-fly," so registrations didn't happen exactly as I would have wanted! Nevertheless, you get to hear the magnificence of this amazing instrument and the glorious acoustic of the Tabernacle.
