It was nice to see a new Z/28 on track. I wanted to see if I could stay close to this Z/28 and I stayed close enough. The Camaro Z/28 is an awesome track car. The new GT350R Mustang should make for a good match with it's massive brakes and carbon fiber wheels.
2012 Boss 302 Mods:
Suspension - Ford Racing P springs, lower rear control arms and relocation brackets
Maximum Motorsports camber plates
Engine - stock with TracKey
Tires - Nitto 555R II tires in 285/35/18 and 305/35/18 on 9.5" and 10.5" Enkei PF01's
Brake pads - Pagid RS29/56 F&R
The Z/28 was stock
I'm happy to report the Z/28 was not not damaged and he was able to drive it home.
