I explored the busy streets, watched a live music performance, and shared tamales with locals. The highlight of the day was eating authentic pupusas de queso con ayote at the famous Lilian’s Pupusas, a true taste of El Salvador
What started with nerves turned into one of the most unforgettable experiences of my travels. San Salvador’s Centro Histórico is alive with food, culture, and people who changed the way I saw this city.
