ARISE 2025 comes to a grand closure, with new, innovative and transformative research pathways that will shine Amma's vision of compassion-led research.
Speaking on the 5th, the final day of ARISE, Amrita’s Provost Dr Maneesha Ramesh said that the objective of bringing in nearly 600 faculty from nearly 9 campuses was to develop capacities and foster a deep understanding of how to translate the innovative ideas into impactful solutions to build a sustainable and resilient society.
Sujatha Ramanathan, Assistant Director, Amrita Centre for International Programs, said that it was a huge honor to celebrate our family of scientists and researchers for their excellence across disciplines.
The AIRA awards were received by over 25 scientists in Stanford University's top 2% list, worldwide, and nearly 3,100 awards were presented to 813 researchers for their accomplishments in numerous categories, including patent filings and project grants.
Building on the foundation laid by ARISE 2024, this year, the focus was on conceptualizing and identifying the research hubs the university aspires to further develop.
We believe Amrita is setting a new path—the kind of transformation that is required from the faculty community to build a better world.
