Through Our Lens is a Māoriland kaupapa connecting Indigenous youth around the world through film. Rangatahi Māori travel to Indigenous communities to run filmmaking workshops, where young people create and share their own stories. Each short film is celebrated locally, then screened at the Māoriland Film Festival in Aotearoa, linking communities across the Pacific, the Arctic, and beyond.
This workshop was supported by Te Tumu Whakaata Taonga - New Zealand Film Commission, First Sovereign Trust and the New Zealand National Commission for UNESCO.
