I initially had a different song in mind for my post-season finale Thizzy vid, but once this one came on shuffle, I knew I HAD to use it! I've been raving about how this show uses the sea as a motif to represent a yearning for freedom for weeks, and that's been especially relevant for Theo. So this song felt PERFECT for the freedom he has found in being with Lizzy!! And my god, what a finale this was!! I'm so happy that Theo made such a huge sacrifice for Lizzy, and I can't wait to see where their journey goes next! I'm sure the angst will be delicious once Lizzy eventually tells him the truth, and they'll be able to overcome it all together.

In this vid, I really wanted to highlight their individual arcs before bringing those together, because those arcs were hugely important in their journey to finding each other. And those arcs are what made their love story so beautiful and impactful to me.
