If you google this phrase, just below my Hipoverfifty.com blog post entry (https://www.hipoverfifty.com/what-opt...) you’ll see an official Gov.uk article link “Extend your stay as a retired person of independent means”

But if you click on that gov.uk link, the first thing you’ll see is that this guidance was withdrawn in Nov ’22 and hasn’t been replaced.

So there is no longer a "retired persons" visa available in the UK. But what if you want to live here once you retire? What are your options?
