This video demonstrates Gitlab CI/CD process for Python Flask Project. This video explains how we can generate a docker image, deploy it on DockerHub and then deploy it on AWS ECS cluster.
Following process is followed as part of CI/CD Process:
1) Setup Python virtual environment
2) Create and run python flask application
3) Building the Dockerfile and running the container
4) Pushing the Docker image to DockerHub
5) Create a new repository on Gitlab and push the project code into that
6) Setup local Gitlab runner.
7) Create a new AWS ECS Cluster and link the image to DockerHub.
8) Configure .gitlab-ci.yml file and run the pipeline
