ഗസ്സയില്നിന്ന് ഇസ്രായേലിന് നേരെയുണ്ടാകാനിടയുള്ള ആക്രമണങ്ങള് ഇല്ലാതാക്കാന് നടപടിയുണ്ടാകുമെന്ന് ഗസ്സക്ക് പുറത്തുള്ള ഹമാസിന്റെ രാഷ്ട്രീയകാര്യ നേതാവ് ഖാലിദ് മിശ്അല്.ആയുധം താഴെ വെക്കുന്നത് തങ്ങളുടെ ആത്മാവ് റദ്ദുചെയ്യുന്നതിന് തുല്യമാകമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം 'അല് ജസീറ'യുമായുള്ള അഭിമുഖത്തില് പറഞ്ഞു. ഇസ്രായേല് തുടര്ച്ചയായി വെടിനിര്ത്തല് ലംഘിച്ചാല് ഇപ്പോഴുള്ള സ്ഥിതി തുടരാനാകില്ലെന്ന് ഹമാസ് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിരുന്നു. ഒക്ടോബര് പത്തിന് വെടിനിര്ത്തല് പ്രഖ്യാപനമുണ്ടായ ശേഷം ഇസ്രായേല് 738 തവണ ലംഘനം നടത്തിയെന്നും അവര് പറയുകയുണ്ടായി.
Hamas political leader Khaled Meshaal has stated that steps will be taken to prevent any potential attacks on Israel from Gaza. He said that laying down arms would mean “cancelling their very soul.” Hamas also warned that the situation cannot continue if Israel keeps violating the ceasefire, claiming 738 violations since it was announced on October 10. Tensions remain high as both sides exchange accusations.
