Seeming as the legend that is Midge Ure has a birthday on the 10/10! Thought I'd make this... actually, originally I thought 'No Regrets', but as the official video for this has 80x the views!! This should be a lot more popular!
Sadly in the UK this only reached No.70 on the charts... but thanks to Swatch Watch picking up the song for an advert! Booom! And I heard it even went to No.1 somewhere? And a hit in several other countries, and well deserved!!
Man, this was a tough one! As the type of song, made isolation of sounds/instruments real dodgy! So needed a lot of extra work, touch ups, multi-layering... OK, it's FAR from perfecto! But we only be amatuer!
Happy 71st Midge for the 10th October! ..a musical artist so well respected by many stars! Has a huge amount of hits under various guises (inc Slik, Rich Rids, Visage, Ultravox)... starting as far back as 1976! And still selling out gigs!!
