Tom Ferrarese speaks to the annual meeting of the League of Women Voters of the Rochester Metro Area about Executive Order 14248, which would require all voters to show proof of citizenship and would also revoke the approval of all voting machines, forcing an entirely manual process. The LWVUS has brought a lawsuit claiming that the EO is unconstitutional. Mr. Ferrarese explains the role of the Elections Assistance Commission and how this EO goes against its mandate under the Help America Vote Act. Mr. Ferrarese is a member of the 35 member Advisory Committee to the EAC, and served as Commissioner of Elections in Monroe County, NY for nearly 20 years.
