A small group of women from Pakistan’s restive province of Balochistan have staged a protest sit-in at Islamabad for recovery/release of what they say are their enforced disappeared close relatives. Islamabad Police has cordoned off the protest venue declaring their protest as illegal. Other than the local administration no elected government representative has met the protestors to know or meet their demands. The mainstream or social media is discouraged to report the protest and the courts are reluctant to decide the pending missing persons cases.
