The Reckoners series by Brandon Sanderson is a really amazing YA novel series that is perfect for those readers who love superhero stories but are looking to have a twist. Steelheart is book one and the book we are talking about in this series Firefight is book two of three in the series (There is also a novella). David is a young man who has teamed up with the Reckoners to help kill beings called Epics. But in this book he is trying to see if he can find away to save the super villain like people. Brandon Sanderson creates a really amazing new world where powered people rule.
