Jemma Simmons | 'T' is for 'Trauma'

I can’t even begin to explain how attacched I am to Simmons. Sometimes I joke about the fact that our names are pretty similar, but obviously that’s not it. I wanted to make a video about her being a badass, sassy queen and stuff, but another video popped out this week and it’s rather glorious (link:    • Jemma Simmons || Horns Like a Devil  ).

So I decided to focus on her PTSD. I think it’s something so so underrated and neglected about her character. I mean WE notice it, but I don’t think that the writers address it as often as they should. You can see this woman blaming herself for everything. Literally everything that happens is her fault, in her head of course. And that’s so sad and it makes me love her even more. I think that there’re several hints of Simmons being in distress, anxiety and constant having trust-issues, but somehow even the scenes in which these things are shown are deleted. Can you believe it?
At first I didn't want to post this video since I feel like it's not one of my best works and mostly because I did it because I needed to render all her pain in a video. Not to publish it, just to think about it and the result is that I fell even more in love with this delicate, strong, smart, complex woman.
Anyway, I hope this is okay and that this video didn’t make anyone feel bad or sad or idk whatever. I just hope that this could make you think about how trauma effect people even though we barely are aware of their pain. It's not like I'm trying to humanize Jemma or to make her seem a real person, but I think that a lot of her struggles can be the same struggles each one of us has to face. Not being able to control difficult situations, being scared and confused. And of course I hope that no one of us will experience a real PTSD.

I don’t think I’ll upload in the next three or four weeks since EXAMS ARE COMING OH MY GOD.
So you all can breathe and get a pause from my compulsive vidding-habits (is that even a word? With english you never know, though xD).
I also chose this song because I got incredibly inspired by a video about Daisy ( I'm sure you all know it, but here it is:    • Daisy Johnson | Don't let me be gone.  ) with it and I think it’s pretty suitable for both of them. :)
I also sincerely hope that this will be my last Aos video for a long time, because my channel has become a little monothematic, ugh.
