How To Turn a Beautiful Lidded Box from Spalted Beech. Beginner Woodturning Project

Join me in the workshop as I transform a piece of spalted beech into a stunning lidded box on the Harvey T60S woodturning lathe. Using carbide woodturning tools, I achieve precise shaping and intricate detailing, bringing out the striking patterns of the spalted beech.

For a flawless finish, I applied Yorkshire Grit abrasive paste to refine the surface and completed the piece with Hampshire Sheen finishing wax, giving it a smooth and polished look.
