High up in the Ecuadorian Andes, almost directly on the equator in a remarkably mild climate at 2350 meters (7710 feet) above sea level, sits a perfect piece of land and the site of my next project. It's a little small for a productive farm, but with a little planning and smart use of the space I hope to transform this field of weeds into a beautiful food forest, greenhouse, solar heated tilapia pond, my family's home, and a place where visitors can rent cabins and experience life on our farm.
