Shoutout to Gary Shaferman @gshaf1000 a kick ass drummer who has covered dozens of heavy metal songs from the 80s, 90s and beyond! He partially inspired me to cover this one.
Rewind to the early days of MTV and also Headbangers Ball and you saw this video a lot.
Recorded live and raw with iPhone 13 Pro and EV PA. Video editing using iMovie. I’m not trying to capture a studio quality recording but rather a live performance.
Equipment : Tama Superstars, Tama SLP Big Black Steel 8x14 snare, Zildjian cymbals, Behringer XR12 mixer, Shure PGA65 tom mics, Shure Beta kick mic, Audix I5 snare mic, DJ disco lighting.
