Join me for a walking tour of Union Street in the Cow Hollow neighborhood, just south of the San Francisco Marina. These two neighborhoods are divided by Lombard Street. The area was once a grazing area for cows, but now it's for the young people. Union Street is the main commercial area of this neighborhood and it has a lot of choices for food and drink. There's also the upscale gyms like Equinox, Soulcycle, and a number of yoga places.
I point out the storefront for Atelier Crenn (oops, I spelled it wrong in the video!), the 3* Michelin Restaurant. No signage or any markings necessary for this famous restaurant. If you can afford it, they have a $155pp 7 course take out pandemic special. I guess that's cheaper than the usual $355 + $220 wine pairing, but you do have to heat it up yourself.
Most restaurants here are casual, but it's pretty much a given that dining in San Francisco is very expensive, even at the non-fancy places.
