A special bazaar prepared by American homeschooling families! This event is full of handmade items made by children and parents together for Easter, and sells creative items such as cookies, 3D printed key rings, paper flowers, bookmarkers, and stress balls at low prices. 오늘은 미국 홈스쿨링 가족들이 직접 준비한 바자회 현장에 다녀왔어요.
Today, we visited a handmade bazaar hosted by U.S. homeschooling families.



아이들과 부모가 함께 만든 다양한 핸드메이드 작품들이 가득했어요.
It was full of handmade creations made by kids and their parents together.



미국에는 종교적 이유, 다둥이 가정, 자유로운 시간 활용을 위해 홈스쿨을 선택하는 가정이 많아요.
In the U.S., many families choose homeschooling for religious reasons, larger families, or to have more flexible schedules.

홈스쿨링 가족들끼리는 플레이데잇도 자주 하고 정보를 많이 나눠요.
These families often arrange playdates and share useful information.



이번 주에는 수요일부터 금요일까지 크래프트와 베이킹 판매가 열린다고 해서 다녀왔어요.
This week, there was a craft and baking sale from Wednesday to Friday, so we decided to check it out.

학생들이 직접 만들고, 부모님들이 도와서 판매하는 방식이에요.
The students make the items themselves, with a little help from their parents.



작은 교회 체육관을 빌려서 한 시간 동안 열린 바자회였어요.
The bazaar was held in a small church gym and lasted for just an hour.

친구도 판매에 참여한다고 해서 구경도 하고 응원도 했어요.
A friend’s child was selling something, so we went to support and look around.



제일 먼저 간 곳은 gem chisel kit 판매 부스였어요.
Our first stop was the gem chisel kit booth.

아이 셋이 직접 만든 키트를 2불에 판매하고 있었어요.
Three kids were selling their handmade gem kits for just $2.


다양한 판매 물품들, 아이들이 만든 실뜨개 공, 종이꽃, 핸드메이드 쿠키, 스트레스볼까지 정말 다양했어요.
There were all kinds of items—yarn balls, paper flowers, handmade cookies, and stress balls made by kids.


3D 프린터로 만든 에그 키링과 용 장난감도 인기가 많았어요.
Egg keyrings and dragon toys made with 3D printers were especially popular.

북마커, 팔찌, 목걸이 참, 직접 만든 조미료, 그레놀라 백도 있었어요.
There were also bookmarks, bracelets, necklace charms, homemade seasonings, and granola bags.



따봉이와 채리에게 5불씩 주고 스스로 사고 싶은 걸 사보게 했어요.
I gave Dabong and Cherry $5 each and let them choose what they wanted to buy.

이런 경험을 통해 아이들이 '우리도 만들어서 팔고 싶다'고 말하는 게 제일 기뻤어요.
Hearing them say, “I want to make and sell something like that too!” made me so happy.



홈스쿨링 바자회는 아이디어를 얻고, 친구들과 소통하고, 아이들 창의력을 자극하는 좋은 기회였어요.
This homeschooling bazaar was a great opportunity to gather ideas, connect with friends, and inspire our kids’ creativity.
