Transfiguration of Our Lord Jesus Christ Ukrainian Orthodox Church was built in 1949 by Ukrainian homesteaders in this remote area on the Saskatchewan prairies. It was built next to an already existing cemetery. The large wooden church wasn't finished because the money dried up. Services, weddings and holiday get togethers were still held here. Sometime in the early 1960's its last service was held.
