This is an archived show of the Original Joker's Wild Barbershop Comedy Quartet, sometime between 1973 and 1990.
The original Joker's Wild Barbershop Comedy Quartet originated from Sarasota, Fl and toured the Eastern Seaboard of the United States between 1973 and 1990. A few faces changed over the years. The following is a list of Joker' Wild members.
Lee Frayer: Baritone, Quartet Founder
Lowell Wolf: Bass
Paul Kloko: Bass
Craig Bray: Tenor
Bill McAdoo: Lead
Larry Swan: Lead
Bob Robar: Tenor
The name "Joker's Wild" was reassigned by S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. in 1990 to another Barbershop Quartet, forcing the original group to rebrand with a different name. The new Joker's Wild Quartet became international champions.
The original Joker's Wild group went on to sing their comedy favorites over many years, under a few different names, but never regained their original touring stature.
At the time this presentation was archived (Dec 2025). only one member has survived; Lee Frayer, who is still directing a chorus at age 87.
