MECHA C1 Controller – Understanding LED Messages

In today's video, we will discuss a few messages displayed on the C1 LEDs. We will begin with a message consisting of three exclamation marks: “!!!”. Usually, it is displayed as follows:
1. When updating the firmware, if the update cannot be performed.
2. If MECHA cannot compute a pattern using the feedback received when its power button is pressed, it indicates no change.
3. When updating the firmware using the code 32123, the three exclamation marks indicate there is no internet connection.
4. If you enter the code 321 to get the last part of the IP address and receive three exclamation marks instead, it means the Wi-Fi is off.

Let's see other LED messages related to code 321.
1. Normally, after entering the code 321, the LEDs will display a number preceded by a dot. For example, ".152" in our case.
2. If the LEDs display three "A" letters, it means MECHA operates in AP mode, and the IP address is 192.168.8.1.
3. If either ".0" or "0.0.0.0" is displayed, MECHA is not in AP mode and does not have an IP address assigned. It is in STA mode but is not connected to a network. In this case, you can restart MECHA and enable AP mode by pressing button 1 for three seconds when the LEDs appear as a splitting light.

When attempting to update the firmware using code 32123, the LEDs will display three dots if no update is found.

If the bottom LED lights red or blinks red, it indicates that the battery needs recharging.

When using a single-axis MECHA to shoot a multi-row panorama, the MECHA enters pause mode after completing the first row and waits for you to tilt the vertical axis to continue capturing a full spherical panorama.
The pause is represented on the LEDs as a blinking colon.
A tilt of 45°, for example, is displayed as " 4 5".
Dots and minus signs have the same representation on the LEDs: the middle LED lights up green.

When resetting the configuration settings to their default values, after initially entering the code 231231, the top LED lights green, then the bottom LED lights red, and this sequence repeats a few times. This indicates the code should be entered a second time as soon as the blinking pattern stops. (Then, to complete the resetting process, press the power button when its LED starts flashing.)

If two MECHA units are paired, you will notice – after both units are powered on – that MECHA-H has the middle LED lit up green, and MECHA-V has LEDs two and four lit up green.
If, additionally, the fifth LED lights red on MECHA-V, this indicates that the firmware versions on both units do not match. Therefore, it is recommended to update the firmware.
