In this video, Greg takes the completed Ripstick lure and thoroughly seals it with epoxy, creating a hard-as-steel finish that will stand up to the many toothy predators of the Dark Continent, as well as those monsters of the world's oceans. The process is long, with as many as three coats being applied, each with upwards of 18 hours of curing time between coats. Through all of this the war is on against dust, eyelashes, insects and lions!
While we had planned to get this Ripstick somewhere exciting for its test - like the Zambezi - this was not to be and we settled for one of the test-pools we use close to base. Finally we get to see some of the amazing action this lure is imbued with, and listen as Greg discusses its worldwide success in all applications.
