1980s Rusty Bench Grinder Restoration

This 1980s bench grinder was found in an abandoned mechanical workshop, covered in rust, dust, and completely non-functional. It’s a Toshiba CBG-150B, made in Japan, but years of neglect left it in terrible condition.
To restore it, we disassembled every part, removed rust with a sandblaster and wire brush, and repaired severely damaged areas through cutting and welding. The casing was repainted to prevent future oxidation, while the internal components, wiring, bearings, and rusted screws were carefully inspected and replaced.
