新年を祝う季寄せ飾り～松と梅、一鉢で感じる春の兆し～

今回のWABI CHANNELは、
松と梅を主役に、新年を祝う「季寄せ飾り」を仕立てていく様子をご紹介します。

迎春の象徴である松と梅に、南天、ヤブコウジ、コグマザサ、フキノトウを添え、
ひとつの鉢の中に、新年を迎える景色を表現します。

植え込みの考え方や根の扱い、全体の流れを整えるためのポイントを、
作業を通して丁寧にお話ししています。

完成した季寄せ飾りは、床の間に限らず、書斎やサイドテーブル、年明けのオフィスや受付など、
さまざまな「新年の席」にも取り入れることができます。

In this episode of WABI CHANNEL,
we create a New Year ki-yose arrangement, with pine and plum as the main elements.

Pine and plum, both symbols of the New Year, are combined with nandina, yabukōji, koguma-zasa, and fuki-no-tō to express a seasonal scene within a single container.

Through the process, we carefully explain key points unique to ki-yose arrangements, including how to approach planting, how to handle the roots, and how to maintain a balanced flow throughout the composition.

The completed ki-yose arrangement is not limited to a tokonoma display.
It can also be enjoyed in various New Year settings, such as a study, a side table, or even an office or reception space at the start of the year.

A single container filled with the subtle signs of spring.
