It's in my head 24/7

There’s this thought that never leaves me.
No matter what I’m doing — training, working, driving — it’s always there.
That voice in the back of my head saying,
“You could be doing more.”
“You’re wasting time.”
“You said you’d change, but you didn’t.”

And I hate it.
Because it never lets me rest.
But maybe that’s the point.

Maybe that voice isn’t there to torture me —
maybe it’s there to remind me that I’m not done yet.

It’s not guilt.
It’s not regret.
It’s the part of me that still believes I can be more —
and it refuses to be quiet.

You can drown it out for a while.
With noise.
With distractions.
With excuses.
But it always comes back.
Every night. Every morning. Every time you stop pretending you’re fine.

And if you’re honest…
you know exactly what I’m talking about.
Because that voice is in your head too.

It’s the reason you can’t fully relax.
It’s the reason you feel uneasy when you waste another day.
It’s the truth whispering that you were meant for more —
and deep down, you know it.

So maybe you shouldn’t fight it anymore.
Maybe you should start listening.

Because that voice in your head…
it’s not your enemy.
It’s your potential — trying to wake you up.

It’s in my head 24/7.
