Kathryn Edwards, MD, professor emeritus at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, and a former member of the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and the FDA's Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee, has spent decades on the front lines of immunization science.
