Mysterious monolith appears near ancient site in Turkey

A mysterious metallic monolith has turned up in Turkey, at a twelve-thousand year old temple that recently became a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The shiny block is reportedly inscribed with old Turkic script that says "If you want to see the moon, look at the sky."
Authorities are trying to unravel the secret behind who brought the metal slab to the middle of an empty field.
Similar monoliths have been sighted in several locations around the world.
One appeared in a desert in Utah, in the U.S. last year, but then vanished.
The monolith craze also spread to unlikely places from Romania to Canada.
