Barrister babu is a historical theme based serial which supports women empowerment and criticises evil practices, which were done in British area. In this show, a Barrister named "Anirudh Roy Choudhury" returned to his country, India after completing his Barristry from London to make Indian women independent and educated. On other side a curious little girl named "Bondita Das" was forced to marry a old man because of the evil practice of Childmarriage, but that man died in "Saat Pak" ritual. The whole village members were ready to burn Bondita alive and wanted to make her "Sati". But Anirudh came at right time and saved Bondita from "Sati Dah Pratha". To save Bondita and to ensure village members that he will take care of Bondita, and will perform his all duties towards her sincerely, he married Bondita unwillingly and took her responsibility. He took pledge to make Bondita, the First female Barrister of Tulsipur.

How will they fight against the all those evil practices and society for women empowerment? How Bondita will became first school going girl in the era where female education was considered as a curse for women and the whole society? How will be the journey of Bondita Das from Becoming "Bondita Anirudh Roy Choudhury" to "Barrister Babu Bondita"? How will be the relation of Anirudh and Bondita when they both will go against of all evil practices, rituals and boundaries made by the society in that era?
