Watercolour Granulation: All Types and Levels!

Hi Everyone, it was such a fun process to create this swatch card with the most granulating colours from my extended watercolour collection. I have separated them into three groups: colour separation, basic granulation, and cobalts. Mostly I want to demonstrate the importance of challenging your watercolours by creating backruns.

Backruns [also known as blooms] are vital when it comes to testing watercolours to see what they are capable of, which includes movement [dispersion] and pigment settling [granulation]. Enjoy! :)
