"Time mode" data collection with GSSI equipment refers to collecting data continuously at set time intervals, rather than based on distance. It is one of several data acquisition options available on GSSI's GPR systems, alongside distance and point modes.
This mode is typically used when a survey wheel is not practical due to surface conditions, such as:
Over rough, uneven ground.
Over ice or water.
On walls or ceilings.
On inclines.
