JINHAO 8802 FOUNTAIN PEN REVIEW: Diplomatic Bribes, Inlaid Raden, and the Perfect Secret Santa

Another Jinhao Fountain Pen Review, more specifically the Jinhao 8802! I'm not alone in choosing the inlaid raden (i.e. Mother of Pearl) version of this model as most attractive and therefore it is the inlaid raden that has provided much of the inspiration for this pen review!

Today we delve into the venerable art of inlaid lacquer work, explore the history of diplomatic gift-giving, and attempt to answer the question: What makes the perfect gift? I assure you all of this connects back to the Jinhao 8802.

This week we finally emerged from our two-week quarantine and celebrated by taking a long, meandering walk to the supermarket. Such exciting lives we lead!

As a special surprise, Diamine's Limited Edition 'Bloody Brexit' arrived just moments before we began filming. We couldn't help ourselves! We had to give it a test run in our writing sample.
