The Eifelsteig is a long distance trail in West Germany.
It starts in Kornelimünster (Aachen) and runs up to Trier, spanning 313 km.
We did the first 5 stages in November 2024 and hiked the 5 next ones in January 2025.
5 days of hiking in the snow, with freezing temperatures on icy paths. Loved it ...
This video covers the 8th stage. Starting in Mirbach in freezing cold weather.
The waterfall of Dreimühle, the castle of Kerpen were only a few of the highlights of this hiking trip.
