Healthcare Simulation-Temporary Tattoos on Silicone Skins

This is a companion video to the temporary tattoo videos that have previously released. The biggest feedback I have gotten is that TEGADERM DOES NOT STICK TO SILICONE! What do I do?

Here is your answer.

You need something with a silicone based glue. I have found three that work thus far. The easies to find is "Mepitac" tape. There are also Curad Band aids with a silicone based glue. Not so much for tattoo transfers, but to glue or build up onto.

I also get asked where to find images to print for the tattoos we use on manikins. The answer is two fold:
1. Google image search. Then take into a photo editing program to "Fuzz" the sharp edges off the images. Elegant? no. Does it meet a learning objective and move on, YES!
2. The second suggestion is to buy them from one of two places"
