After having performed in 1999 at the Husum Festival, Meinders was in Husum in 2002 as a visitor. While at Husum, Meinders was asked to replace the Hungarian pianist Gyorgy Sandor who has fallen ill. Meinders accepted. Whith practically no time to prepare, scores had to be faxed to Husum and some scores had to be played with the score (and page turner).
