Cognitive dissonance is the confusion of having justifications for staying bonded to somebody who is hurting us.
It happens when we’re not listening to our Soul screaming at us because we’ve got pain and trauma trapped within us and despite this horrific feeling, we stay no matter how badly the narcissist treats us.
