The Land's Sweet Offering: From Sun-Cured Persimmons to Moonlit Dragon Fruit Wine
The girl also harvests bright pink ripe dragon fruit from the garden. She lovingly caresses the black cat and begins the process of making dragon fruit wine. She uses a knife to cut open and peel the dragon fruit, then puts the deep pink flesh into a large glass jar. She adds cane sugar and grinds yeast (in pellet form) in a stone mortar before adding the ground yeast into the jar. After mixing well and sealing, the jar of dragon fruit wine is stored in a small bamboo cabinet. The scene changes, showing the night sky with moonlight (lunar eclipse) and blooming lotus/water lilies, before returning to a close-up of the wine after 7 days of fermentation.
At the end of the process, the girl walks to the bamboo cabinet, takes out the fermented wine jar. She smiles with satisfaction as she smells the aroma and begins to pour the finished wine (purple in color) through a filter cloth into a glass bottle. The girl tastes a little wine from the bowl and laughs happily
