Опис зовнішнього вигляду:

у ad верх оливково - бурий; низ білуватий, з темно - бурими плямами; покривні пера споду крил вохристо - жовті; махові і стернові пера бурі; дзьоб бурий, основа нижньої щелепи світліша; ноги жовтувато - бурі. У juv верх зі світлими рисками.

Статус перебування в Україні:

гніздовий, перелітний, зрідка зимуючий.

Розповсюдження (поширення):

гніздиться в лісовій і лісостеповій смугах, а також на півночі степової смуги і в гірському Криму; мігрує на всій території; зрідка трапляється взимку в південних областях.

Біотоп, якому птах надає перевагу:

ліси і парки.

Поведінка, її особливості:

полюбляє співати на верхівках дерев, нерідко тримається на землі.

Відмінності від схожих видів:

від білобрового дрозда відрізняється рудувато - жовтимп покривними перами споду крил і відсутністю "брів".

Звуки:

пісня голосна, мелодійна і різноманітна; поклик - різке "сіт", крик тривоги - тріскотливе "тікс - ікс - ікс". ❇️❇️❇️❇️❇️Body weight:

Description of appearance:

In ad, the upper body is olive-brown; the lower body is whitish, with dark brown spots; covering feathers of the wing coverts are ocher-yellow; flight and rudder feathers are brown; the beak is brown, the base of the mandible is lighter; legs are yellowish-brown. In juveniles, the upperparts are light-colored.

Status in Ukraine:

breeding, migratory, occasionally wintering.

Distribution (occurrence):

nests in forest and forest-steppe zones, as well as in the north of the steppe zone and in the mountainous Crimea; migrates throughout the territory; occasionally occurs in winter in the southern regions.

Preferred habitat:

forests and parks.

Behavior, its peculiarities:

likes to sing in the treetops, often stays on the ground.

Differences from similar species:

differs from the White-throated Thrush by reddish-yellowish covering feathers on the wing coverts and the absence of "eyebrows".

Sounds:
