Fish Fork and the East Fork of the San Gabriel River

On Saturday morning I started early at the Bridge to Nowhere Trailhead in Azusa Canyon and I took the trail up along the East Fork of the San Gabriel river to the bridge, through the narrows and out along Fish Fork. I wasn't really sure to expect past a certain point, but I did find some great canyon walls with springs and a really nice ~12 foot waterfall with a deep pool. I did a cold plunge and showing in the cold water, which was great! I visited some neat cave mineral deposits comping down and I did a little cold plunge and showing in the Falls Gulch waterfall too. I also stopped by a neat mineral cover with a bunch of stalactites on the East Fork too (similar to the one on Fish Fork, but much larger). I visited a few cabins on my way down and the narrows by the bridge. This was a great trip! I love exploring the Angeles National Forest and the San Gabriel Mountains at large.
