BRAND NEW 2017 Volkswagen

The 2015 New York Auto Show Pink Color Edition concept has become a reality! The first car with its own hashtag, the 2017 #PinkBeetle Convertible features unique Fresh Fuchsia metallic paint with matching Club Pink Plaid sport cloth interior!

There are pink touches to the interior beyond the seats, including the steering wheel insert and trim around the vents and radio. Additionally, the top of the door cards are also painted in Fresh Fuchsia.

Under the hood, VW's ubiquitous 1.8T, with 170 horsepower and 184 lb/ft of torque. The only transmission offered is the very capable 6-speed automatic. Fuel economy is respectable, at 24/33 city/highway.

The wheels on the convertible are the familiar 18" Twister, and they're complemented front and rear by LED technology, with LED taillights and LED daytime running lights (DRLs) up front, flanking bi-xenon headlamps. A reverse camera aides in backing up. KESSY keyless access makes entry and exit a breeze, and pairs nicely with the push-button ignition.

Inside, the upgraded MIB II Composition Media features 8 speakers, USB connection, Car-Net App-Connect, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Bluetooth. Heated front seats, leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, gear selector, and emergency brake, ambient lighting, and piano black trim on the dashboard and climate surround round out the interior.
