First Holyrood Palace Guard Parade in 2026 is on 21st January for King Charles' Scotland visit . The 5 Scots Balaklava Company Royal Guards, who just finished their guard duty at Buckingham Palace in December 2025, are on duty at Holyrood Palace today. The Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland provided a musical accompaniment for the ceremony.
