This was a classic attraction that added to the uniqueness of Disneyland as it was never replicated in another Disney park. America Sings opened on June 29, 1974, two years before America would celebrate its Bi-Centennial. America Sings is one of those attractions that we look back on fondly as a true Disney classic. I recorded this in 1986, about two years before it closed on April 10, 1988 after a 14 year run. I have upscaled it, color enhanced and corrected and stabilized it because a 9lb video camera was hard to control sometimes! I also added the names of all the singers so they get their recognition. So let’s all clap our hands as we travel on through history and hear America Sing!
