In this video Dr. Salvatore Vinciguerra visits the Miccosukee Indian Arts and Crafts festival near Miami, Florida.

This video is a performance of the Hoop Dance performed by Josiah Enriquez and Edwin Felter. The dancers are a part of The Lightning Foundation from Santa Fe, New Mexico.

The Miccosukee Indian Arts and Crafts Festival is an excellent activity for the family that takes place every year at between Christmas and New Years.

Indian musical arts are a big part of the yearly festival and each day of the festival the entertainment changes.

Admission is $15.00 for an adult and lower costs are available for children, Indian tribe members, military and senior citizens.

The Miccosukee Resort & Gaming is located near the event and is an excellent place to stay overnight if you are visiting from out of town. The resort has a free shuttle service that goes to and from the Indian Village every hour from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
