In what was a political decision bar none, Hamas’ political bureau was proscribed by the UK government, despite not being on the list of proscribed organization for the ten years since its military wing was. Now, with the genocide against Gaza in its 18th month, and the ICC and ICJ pursuing the state of Israel and specifically its Prime Minister on charges of war crimes, Hamas moved to instruct a group of British lawyers to apply for the removal of Hamas from the proscribed list.
Franck Magennis speaks with Anas Altikriti about the application, the expert statements, as well as the context within which the application is made, i.e. the genocide and the behaviour of the Zionist state.
