‘Where have you gone, O golden days of my Spring?’ is probably Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin most famous aria after Tatyana's letter aria. As Lensky (Ovidiu Purcel) prepares for the duel with Onegin, he sings out a letter which above all is a poignant moment of reflection and resignation over the loss of Olga, Lensky's sweetheart.
