And taking the blame for men’s folly
Now she swims to the deepest parts of the ocean
And rides the crests of the biggest waves
Calling to those brave enough to follow

About This Production:
Stories of the Season 2025 features solos created throughout the Belly Dance Stories Dance & Storytelling Lab. Over twelve weeks, dancers explored personal storytelling and this year’s theme, Myth of the Feminine, to craft the pieces you see here. Students had the option to perform at the end of the Lab, either in-person or by submitting a video art performance.
The theater show also included guest artists from our South Florida belly dance community, in celebration of the talent and comradery our community offers.
