Thanks to 19lfm12 for identifying this piece as the Festival Procession by Richard Strauss. This was one of several pieces performed during a noon recital in the early 1980s when I visited Keith and his wife Sally; sadly they both died in a tragic airplane accident in 1989, a great loss to their families and the music community at large.
