Today, I’m moving out of my apartment and into another extended stay hotel. This is the side of professional basketball that most people never see — the instability.

Being a pro athlete isn’t always glamorous. There’s constant uncertainty:

No permanent home base.

Always searching through Airbnbs and hotels.

Spending thousands every offseason just to live.

Losing touch with friends and family because you never know where you’ll be for the next ten months.

No loyalty. No security. Just guessing what’s next.
