Happy 2nd birthday to this piece, which I wrote for two Super 6’s (thanks UDO Audio for the wonderful collab - • UDO Audio & Hazel Mills - Moraine - Super ... .
“Moraine” builds up parts in realtime, where the sequencers are used almost as live loopers, and then the tempo and sounds are manipulated. I had so much fun putting this together.
The sounds in this immediately conjured imagery of glaciers for me and it was all I could picture while I was recording this.
